Promo Event Analysis

The Promo Event Analysis report can be used to analyse promotional events during a specific time period, and will assist to understand if the events attracted new shoppers to the brand, category or retailer.

Business Questions

  • Did the promotion or event help bring new shoppers to my brand or to the retailer?

  • Of those that bought my brand for the first time, ho w many purchased again after the promotion?

  • Were the buyers of my promotion already regular buyers of my product? And if they were existing buyers, did the promotion encourage them to spend more on my brand?

Key Metrics

  • % of Households: the percent of Households, out of all Households, who bought the product/category at the selected store during the promotion period.

  • % of Spend: the percent of spend, out of all spend, by households who bought product/category at the store during the promotion period.

  • % of Units: the percent of units purchased by households who bought product/category at store during the promotion period.

  • % of Trips: the percent of trips, out of all trips, made by households who bought product/category at store during the promotion period.

  • Average Dollars Per Trip: the average amount spent on the item each time the item is purchased during the time period analysed.
